What if you could live every day with unshakeable integrity, fearless purpose, and a commitment to making a difference? Hi, I’m Alisha Collins with Alisha Collins Real Estate Team, and I’m thrilled to share a set of principles that influence how I lead, how I work, and how I live. These 10 timeless values are not just for Wyoming, they’re for anyone anywhere who wants to show up stronger in their life. Join me as I unpack how these principles can inspire you to build a life of impact.

Live each day with courage. Courage isn’t about being fearless. It’s about moving forward despite the butterflies in your stomach. In my work as a real estate agent, I see it when clients sign that contract for the first home, heart racing, but eyes bright with possibility. It’s in those tough moments too like when I sit down with a seller to have a honest talk about pricing, knowing it might not be what they wanna hear. Courage means choosing integrity over comfort. Whether it’s speaking up at an intense meeting, launching a new venture, or chasing a dream others doubt. It’s the daily choice to face challenges with grit and grace, building a life that reflects your boldest self.

Take pride in your work. Taking pride in your work means pouring your best into every task, no matter how small. For me, it’s crafting a home listing that captures a property’s heart or guiding a client through a complex deal with care. Every detail, polished photos, precise contracts, a perfectly staged room shows my commitment to excellence. Pride is a reflection of who you are, building trust with those you serve. Whether you are teaching a class, leading a team, or running a business, giving your all transforms ordinary work into something meaningful. It’s about showing the world you deeply care about what you do and who you do it for. Always finish what you start. This principle is about unwavering commitment. In my line of work, I stick with a deal from the first showing to the final signatures and even beyond the closing table, navigating every obstacle with determination. Perseverance is what turns challenges into triumphs, whether it’s completing a demanding work project, honoring a promise to a loved one, or pushing through personal setbacks.

Finishing what you start builds unshakeable reliability, showing others and yourself that you can be counted on. It’s the quiet strength of seeing things through no matter how tough the road gets, and knowing your effort shapes who you are and the trust you inspire. Doing what has to be done. This is one of my favorites. This principle is about embracing your responsibilities with unwavering resolve. It means driving hours to show a rural property or staying up late to solve a client’s concern, even when exhaustion kicks in.

Duty isn’t always glamorous. It’s the gritty commitment to doing what’s needed, like meeting a tight deadline, supporting a loved one, or tackling a tough task at work. Stepping up, especially when it’s inconvenient, forges character and deepens trust. It’s about owning your role in every corner of life, knowing that the effort you put in, no matter how challenging, builds a stronger you and uplifts those around you.

Be tough but fair. This is another one of my favorites. Being tough but fair means upholding high standards while treating others with respect. I negotiate fearlessly for my clients, ensuring their needs are met, yet always strive to be equitable with everyone involved, buyers, sellers, and colleagues. Toughness is standing firm on what matters like quality or ethics without losing your compassion. Fairness strengthens relationships and fosters trust. This balance can transform any workplace or community, creating spaces where integrity and kindness coexist. It’s about holding the line on your principles while lifting others up, knowing that true strength lies in fairness that endures.

When you make a promise, keep it. This principle is the heart of integrity. If I tell a client I’ll find them the perfect home or meet a deadline, I follow through no matter the effort required. Your word is a foundation of trust and trust builds lasting relationships. Whether it’s a major commitment like delivering a work project or a small one, like meeting a friend for coffee, keeping promises proves you’re dependable. It’s not just about others. It’s about honoring your own values, fulfilling your commitments, big or small, shapes you into someone others rely on and strengthens the respect you have for yourself.

Ride for the brand. This principle is all about fierce loyalty to the people and teams you stand for. I go the extra mile to support those I work with, whether it’s putting in late hours to perfect a project or mentoring somebody to help them shine. Loyalty means standing by your colleagues, family, or community through every challenge and victory. It’s giving your all to what you believe in. Showing up consistently with heart and dedication. This commitment builds unbreakable bonds and fuels shared success, proving that your loyalty strengthens both you and those you champion.

Talk less and say more. This principle champions clear, meaningful communication. I focus on sharing ideas or plans in a way that’s straightforward and honest, cutting through noise to get to the core of what matters. It’s not about filling the air with meaningless words. It’s about choosing ones that resonate and build trust. Whether leading a team or catching up with a friend, Deliberate words create clarity and strengthen connections. Thoughtful communication transforms conversations into opportunities for understanding, ensuring your message lands with impact and authenticity every time.

Remember that some things aren’t for sale. This principle is about holding fast to your core values, and of course, this one is one of my favorites. I refuse to compromise my integrity or trust even if it means passing up on an opportunity. Your values, whether honesty, family, or compassion, are your unwavering guide, never up for negotiation no matter the reward. Staying true to them shapes every decision, grounding you in what truly matters. Living by these principles ensures your actions reflect your deepest beliefs, grounding you in what truly matters. Living by these principles ensures your actions reflect your deepest beliefs, building a life of purpose that no amount of gain can sway.

Know where to draw the line. This principle is about setting firm boundaries and standing up for what’s right. I’ve walked away from opportunities that didn’t align with my principles. Choosing integrity over convenience, knowing your limits, whether it’s saying no to overwork or holding fast to your ethics takes strength. Boundaries protect your values and define your character. By drawing the line, you create space for authenticity, ensuring your actions reflect your deepest convictions, and build a life rooted in purpose. These 10 principles: courage, pride, commitment, duty, fairness, integrity, loyalty, communication, values, and boundaries form a powerful roadmap for living with purpose.
