And I’m Eric Saul, owner of the Medicap pharmacy and Hallmark Gold Crown store here in Casper.
How is this pharmacy different than other pharmacies?
Sure. So Medicap pharmacy kind of started as just an idea of becoming more local oriented patient oriented care taken care of by your neighbors where we could make the decisions right here in Casper and not have a corporate office in maybe Bentonville might be an example or, you know, Cincinnati for some of the corporate chains. We wanted to be able to make the decisions right here and we make them at the dinner table. What’s best for our patients right here in Casper. Kristin grew up here in Casper. I grew up all around Wyoming. And so this is, this is our community. And we definitely want to be here to take care of you.
When I walked in today, you were asking someone about a relative. That’s what I like about it. You know who you’re taking care of.
Right? Yeah. You get to know every patient that comes in . They’re happy to be here. We’re happy to see them when it’s happy on both sides of the counter, it’s definitely a better pharmacy experience.
Definitely. We have Hallmark here as well. So there is some really cool cups. Tell us about the ornaments over there.
So we have a few different ornaments this year. We have an angel choir which is really nice, it plays bells to a sequence of different Christmas songs. There’s some talking Star Trek ornaments, and Harry Potter ornaments that if you string them all together though, not the Star Trek won’t talk to the Harry Potter, but they’ll talk amongst each other with storylines, depending on how many you have tied in the story goes differently. If you’ve got Harry and Ron tied in, the story is different than if you have Harry, Ron and Hagrid and Harmione and, and Dumbledore. So it’s kinda neat how the story changes as you have different ornaments tied to it.
Awesome. And there’s a lot of people that buy Hallmart ornaments for their kids or grandma buys one for their grandkids. And so you have all of those.
So we have our, yep. We have our hallmark keepsake ornament wall that has everything from first year. You know baby’s first Christmas to car collections of series, there is, gosh, I’m looking over here and lots of Disney ones the old style arcade games, there’s one that lights up and Nintendo games, churches, and all sorts of variety ornaments, for sure.
One of the things that I was drawn to when I, I love to send little cards or drop off little gifts and a little caring makes a big difference. And there’s a whole bunch of little cards that we’re going to show you that just are really neat and could make a difference in someone’s day, like inside of a coffee cup or something like that.
Yeah. And we do actually have we’ve seen high school girls come in and get a whole stack of cards for all their friends at school and whatnot. And they’re actually, if you buy three it’s three for $5, if you buy eight, it’s like eight for 10. So it’s like the price keeps going down. The more you get and, and they’re really budget friendly for sure.
So come on down . And when you are getting your your prescriptions, you can also do some Christmas shopping.
That’s right. Yep. And we make it quick and efficient and greet you with a smile and always looking forward to seeing our communities.
