Are you looking for a remodeled home in downtown Casper? Well, I found it for you. Hi, I’m Alisha Collins with the Alisha Collins Real Estate Team and today we are at our newest listing at 932 South Center. This home has six bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, has been completely remodeled throughout, and has every luxury that you will love. Let’s go take a look.
The real estate agent and designer that remodeled this house, it was actually done by a licensed contractor as well, but they teamed up instantaneously when they walked in this home. They couldn’t believe how amazing this staircase was, and just the millwork, the transom windows that worked, the stained glass that has been done, and couldn’t wait to make this home into its current glory. We’re gonna show you today all the things that she did to make this house ready for your perfect home.
So this is one of three living areas. This one comes right into this large dining room and one of my favorite things that she did is take out the wall between the dining room and the kitchen, just to give that open feeling. This home isn’t completely open, which seems to me the new trend. And she left some of the charm that comes with a house that’s 100 years old. She also created the design around this brick. It also goes downstairs as well.
The kitchen had to be updated because it was back probably in the ’70s, or maybe even the ’40s. She chose a custom white kitchen with the tall uppers, I totally love them, with gold. And I have to tell you that I wasn’t sure how the gold was gonna look when she told me she was gonna use it, but now I am in love with all of these fixtures. And I can’t forget to talk about the kitchen appliances. They’re high end LG. We even have a five-burner stove with a griddle.
One of the things we have to think about when we’re doing a remodel is that if you have the option to do a main floor master bedroom in a two-story home, you need to capitalize on that because there’s a lot of people looking for main floor living, including a master suite, and a washer and dryer, which I’ll show you in a minute.
As I show you all the bathrooms in this home, you’re gonna notice that she kept the same theme throughout all of them, so this home really flows, and she used updated and super stylish fixtures and materials.
As you can probably expect, there’s a master bedroom and bathroom upstairs as well. So there’s three bedrooms on this upstairs level and you’re gonna love this master. Not only is it a great size, there’s two closets. This master bathroom was actually added from attic space and I think you’ll agree that it really turned out fantastic. And one more thing, I love this. I thought this was a great addition. So you don’t have the door to the bathroom in your way.
One of my favorite features that she kept to stay with that old world theme is these transom windows and, like I said before, they actually are functioning, so you can open and close them to move around the airflow. In three of the four and a half bathrooms, she actually spent the money and put in these glass shower doors, and they just add a lot of function and also style in these bathrooms.
If I lived in this home, I would totally hang out in this den area. I can imagine it with a TV, just a private place to hang out from everyone else in the family.
If you want a basement that has a bar in it, this is the perfect area because there’s a drain and water behind the wall. Cabinets would go perfect right here. They even put in the electrical. Or if you needed a multifamily house or a guest suite, this would make a great small kitchen area.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic to have two laundries? Well, this one is already hooked up for a second set of washer and dryers.
I’ve shown you all the things that you can see, but there’s a lot of things you can’t see that have been updated, like the electrical, the plumbing. There is a brand new roof on this home. The central air and the furnace was installed new. The sidewalk and the driveway are completely new. The new concrete goes into the one-car garage that has a brand new garage door opener. The owner likes to say that it is pretty much a brand new home inside a 100 year old stately body. Remember, we want you to love where you live.
