Spruce Beauty Bar has many services. So of them are nails, Dermaplane, massage and the sensory deprivation float tank. Come on in and see what else we can do for you and your beauty.
Pamper yourself or pamper others. Hi, I’m Melissa Childers and I’m at Spruce Beauty Bar. And I’m Trisha Henriksen. I am the owner. Trisha, how did you come up with the idea for this? So one of my dearest friends actually approached me with it and she thought that we needed a good place to get nails done that was super clean, that we could have big groups come in and enjoy themselves. And then we also have the perk of Gaslight being able to serve them the alcohol that they want. So there’s a full-service bar opportunity for it. So it sorta just started from there and then it has grown. Yes, it has grown. How much have you expanded over the last couple of years? So slowly but surely we took over the lashes and facials and then we added massage. Now we have black scene and tanning. Our newest endeavor that will be here very, very soon is a sensory deprivation float tank. And so we’re just waiting for the final touches of the inspection to be done. And then that will be here before we know it. What is your favorite service that you guys offer? That’s a tough one. So I always, I never was a person who had my nails done, but now I feel a little naked if my nails aren’t done. So I’d have to say my nails, a Dermaplane, and a massage. I pick three. And then the sensory deprivation float tank is gonna be probably top them all. You guys, some of your girls do some super cute nail art. Can you tell us a little bit about that? Yeah, so I mean, those girls have, they watch stuff on YouTube, they take classes, they have just been rocking it. They have been going above and beyond. I mean, seriously some of this stuff is like art. So everyone sort of specializes in something different, everything from just straight glitter to these like full on portraits on people’s nails. So it’s pretty, pretty amazing in that those girls get all the credit for that. So you guys carry some products here with the holidays coming up. Can you tell us about some of those stuff you have? Yeah, so we actually have, we have bath bombs, which are always good for stocking stuffers. We have homemade scrubs and lotions that are made by Herbal Love Creation here locally. So it’s supporting someone local, which is pretty cool. We have Image line, we do the Young Living, and we actually now just started carrying EnCore hair products, which has a plethora of anything pop hair possible. So we’re rounding ourselves out with all of our products. Remember, our local businesses are the heart of our downtown.
