It all started with Baklava! Have you tasted it yet? Pistachio/walnut or chocolate. Zoey went to Every Casper function she could and sold out of her Baklave every time, so she opend Sweet Zoey’s in Sunrise Shopping Center.

And today we are at Sweet Zoey for our live love local business giveaway and all the directions on how to win a gift card to sweet Zoe’s is above. So we all know that it’s well, some of us know that it started with baklava.
Correct.
Tell us about that.
So I started, I still remember that day. I sold baklava on Facebook. It was a trace, it all started at trade baklava on Facebook and it sold out and then people kept asking me do more, make more it’s delicious. So, and then I decided to go to the farmer’s market and then it all started I like, I sold out every time I go there and people like kept asking me do more please. And I went to every local event in Casper here and then I ended up open this store, so,
And what kind of baklava do you have?
I do two flavors. I do the pistachios and walnuts, which is the tradition, the traditional baklava. And then I do have the chocolate baklava, which is nut free, there’s no nuts in the baklava, especially for people, I had a lot of people come and ask me, we love to have baklava but we are, we have allergies to nuts. And then I, you know, I made a chocolate baklava, but yes, we do have two flavors.

Yes of course. We do have the boxes of six pieces or 12 pieces. Amazing gift.
Awesome, so what else? There’s lots more than baklava here so, you make coffee?
Yes, I make coffee and we do have a baba drinks, which is very popular now. Like the bubble tea, we call it different flavors. I love taro, it’s my favorite. And then we do have like chargers. It’s like Italian soda drinks, let’s say, and we do have the traditional tea, like black English, black tea and green tea it’s all fresh. We make it here. And then we do have like hummus, baba ghanoush, taboon it’s all like Lebanese dishes. And then we do have like a Turkish coffee. It’s kind of Turkish dishes. And then you have like a Euro sandwiches is very popular here. We do have like a soup lentil soup, it’s delicious. I have the lentil I have that my family recipe. And we do have, we do use the special spices for lentil soup, so it’s amazing. I’m talking about it now, but I feel like I should have lentil soup now.
Have you always loved to cook?
Yes. I love to cook.
And what did you do before? I find that so interesting. What did you do before you were the owner of sweet Zoe.
Yes. So I am an architect engineer, So I had a job here downtown and architecture company here. And then I started the suite, Zoe. I left that architect thing and now I’m just like focusing on sweet Zoe.
Yes. I just think it’s so,

I love that. We love small businesses as we always say we love small business. We think, or we know it’s the heart of our community. It really brings us all together.
