Who out there is renting a house in the Casper Area? How much are you paying? Are you paying $700, $800, $900, $1000 a month? Or maybe it’s more. And you’ve always wanted to own your own home, but you didn’t think you could do it. I hear this over and over and over again. People don’t think that they can’t buy a home. And guess what? Most of the time they can. Or they think their credit’s bad, and really it’s just 20 points off. Let me tell you how fast you can get 20 points. Obviously someone has to go through and look at your credit and analyze it, but most of the time you can get 20 points in about four to six weeks. These lenders have ways that they can analyze your credit, and then tell you where you need to pay to get the most bang for your buck. Most of the time you pay a certain percentage of your credit card down, so it’s not like you even have to pay off the card. Your credit score rises way higher than you think it would. Julie Condelario from Wallick and Volk will be there to talk with you about credit and what it takes to get a loan. She can pull your credit and tell you exactly what you need to do to get where you need to be to buy a house. Also there are some amazing programs right now, and a lot of people don’t even know about them. You only need $1500 down to buy a house. Some of them you need zero down. And so it’s really important that you take that leap and see if you can buy a house. A house of your own. Build your own wealth. Control your own housing costs. Pay down your own mortgage instead of your landlord’s mortgage. There are so many positives. And I think those are just the financial benefits. What about the emotional benefits that you get to do whatever you want to in that house? You can get a dog that you’ve always wanted (or in my case way more than one). You can paint a wall turquoise, if it’s your favorite color like mine. I don’t have a turquoise wall yet, I need to get my husband talked into that. Anyway, so you can do all the things you want to do inside that house.
